As every organism can feed on multiple things, a food web is a much more realistic and simplified method of transferring energy in an ecosystem.Energy flowEnergy flow is always unidirectional. Energy flows progressively from one trophic level to another and cannot revert back.In most of the natural ecosystems, energy comes from the sun, it is trapped by producers and then pass on to successive trophic levels in the form of food. The available energy decreases at a higher trophic level.Out of the total energy available at a particular trophic level, only 10% is passed on to the next trophic level, making it impossible for energy to flow in the reverse direction. The flow of energy in an ecosystem occurs in the following sequence:Sun - Producer - Herbivore - Carnivore - DecomposerWhat is Food Web?There are unique interactions and relationships which are involved in the transportation of energy. The energy, once produced and captured, is distributed throughout the various living organisms. This transfer of energy is termed as the food web.Trophic levelThe producers and consumers in the ecosystem can be arranged into different feeding groups and are known as trophic levels or the feeding level. All the above-mentioned topics are described in an interactive and efficient manner so that the students could easily understand them. For more information please visit: https://www.dronstudy.com/class-8-12-video-lecture-courses/#1476775986635-bf835880-81b9Call us at - 8287971571 or 0261-4890016DronStudy official website: https://www.dronstudy.comClass 10 Science Video Lectures: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLKb9HOyS0VGR-_2amYZ6nsWhWySlgaMvU#ourenvironment #foodchain #flowofenergy #class10sciencebiology #cbse #ncert #biology🔔 SUBSCRIBE and GET it FREE: https://www.youtube.com/c/dronstudytutors/?sub_confirmation=1
